Hey, y'all! I recorded a podcast episode this morning for next week, but I realized that I was so focused on the topic at hand (you'll see why on Wednesday) that I didn't exactly share a lot about my week. So here are some fun little things that happened during the week!
First up: kitty cuddles. My cat Will usually comes into my room around 10am and demands all the pets. He hogs the desk and we have a fabulous time. This week, he came in when I was drafting a merch sale email (join my mailing list so you don't miss those alerts!) and provided a nice break.
Another fun thing that happened this week was I got to try a new coffee shop! I got an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and it was delicious. The baristas were also really sweet (and they got my full name on the cup, bonus points!). Although I was just running in for a quick coffee and had to get back to my internship, the atmosphere seemed really cozy and relaxed. I can't wait to go back when I have more time.
Also, note my growing plant family in the background. It is 100% funded by my mom and it makes me so happy at my desk.
Something else I loved this week was that I FINALLY went to spin class for the first time in a few months! I forgot to take a picture, but I had a great time! I actually went with my sister Isabella and we filmed a vlog for her YouTube channel, Southern Bella. Subscribe here so you don't miss it when she uploads!
The next thing that happened this week that I actually did talk about on the podcast was the 4th of July! We went to go see fireworks last night and they were so pretty! I didn't get the best photos, but here's one just because.
So there are some highlights for the week! I'll be better at recapping my week in episodes in the future, but maybe it's nice that you got to see some pictures this time around. ;)
